The Katherine Mansfield Birthplace Society Inc. is a registered charity that owns and operates Katherine Mansfield House & Garden. It was formed by Oroya Day in 1986 to purchase, restore and care for the house and garden at 25 Tinakori Road.
You can support the Katherine Mansfield Birthplace Society by becoming a member. The support of our members is vital to the future of Katherine Mansfield House & Garden. They carry on the commitment of the original Katherine Mansfield Birthplace Society members to preserve the built heritage of Aotearoa New Zealand and celebrate the legacy of an extraordinary woman and writer.
The benefits of annual membership are: unlimited free admission, a 10% discount on merchandise, a subscription to our e-newsletter, first-access or discounted tickets to events, and invitations to activities and special occasions.
The membership year runs from 1 January to 31 December each year. Those who join halfway through the membership year (from 1 July) will pay 50% of the relevant membership fee for that membership year.
