Our COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

Following much consideration and consultation with the staff and volunteers at Katherine Mansfield House & Garden, the Board of the Katherine Mansfield Birthplace Society (which owns and operates Katherine Mansfield House & Garden) has adopted a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. The health, safety and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers and visitors (including service providers) is at the heart of this policy.

In order to protect visitors aged under 12 who cannot currently be vaccinated and those at higher risk of complications from COVID-19, a My Vaccine Pass will be required for entry to Katherine Mansfield House & Garden from 11.59pm Thursday 2 December 2021 for those aged 12 years and over. Find out more about the My Vaccine Pass and how to obtain one here.

All staff and volunteers whose roles have been assessed as being at 'medium' or 'high' risk must be fully vaccinated from 11.59pm Thursday 2 December 2021. Roles have been assessed for the potential risk the staff member or volunteer faces of contracting COVID-19 while performing their role at Katherine Mansfield House & Garden, as well as the risk they pose to others on the premises. The assessment has been undertaken using WorkSafe’s risk assessment tool and all staff and volunteer roles have been assessed as being at medium or high risk.
