Poetry in the Garden 2026

Enjoy an afternoon of free poetry in the garden at Katherine Mansfield House & Garden! Bring a picnic and sit on the lawn to hear readings from local poets, including 2026 Ockham NZ Book Award longlisted-poets and poets with newly released collections.

Limited seating will be available, but we encourage you to bring a rug and spread out on the lawn. There is minimal shade in the garden, so please remember to bring a sunhat and feel free to bring a parasol or small umbrella. We will have sunscreen and water available.
