Katherine Mansfield House & Garden is owned and operated by the Katherine Mansfield Birthplace Society, a registered charity. Staffed by a small, dedicated team with assistance from volunteers, Katherine Mansfield House & Garden runs an annual programme of events and activities.

As well as public talks and other events, we offer a range of activities for young people designed to foster creativity, such as our annual Katherine Mansfield Short Story Competition, regular school holiday creative writing workshops, and free craft activities for families. We also welcome regular pre-school, primary and secondary school groups for tours.

We are grateful to our Supporters and would love you to join us. Help keep the legacy of Katherine Mansfield alive and ensure that the Category 1 Historic Place in which she was born remains a place of education, creativity and enjoyment for years to come by making a donation or a bequest.

All purchases through our online store also support us, so treat yourself or someone you know!
