Katherine Mansfield House & Garden is a modestly-sized historic house. Entry to the house is via steps and there is an internal staircase with a handrail and a landing at the half-way point. If you have physical accessibility requirements, please contact us to discuss how we can facilitate your visit. Unfortunately, the house is not wheelchair accessible and we do not have an accessible bathroom.
Mobility Parking space
There is a mobility parking space approximately 50 meters from the house, near the corner of Tinakori Road and Hobson Street (outside 100 Hobson Street). The photos below show the route from the mobility parking space to Katherine Mansfield House & Garden. The footpath is flat and in good condition. If the distance from the mobility parking space is not suitable, you can contact us in advance to arrange driving into the driveway of Katherine Mansfield House & Garden to be dropped off.
