We keep this information secure and don’t share it with any third parties.

E-newsletter: Our e-newsletter platform is Mailchimp. We don’t share information gathered from our e-newsletter subscribers with any third parties. You’ll only receive e-newsletters from Katherine Mansfield House & Garden if you’ve signed up to our mailing list via this website or through other means (such as our feedback form at the house). You can update your details or unsubscribe at any time by using the relevant link at the bottom of the e-newsletter.

Photographs of you: Katherine Mansfield House & Garden staff or a professional photographer hired by Katherine Mansfield House & Garden may take photographs at our public programmes and events. We will display a sign letting you know when photographs are being taken and asking you to let us know if you'd like us to make sure you don't appear in any photographs. We do not share photographs of school groups or young people attending activities such as our school holiday creative writing workshops in which individual students are identifiable. If we share an image of you on our website or social media that you don’t want to have shared, please contact us and provide us with a link to the photo and we will remove it.

Refund Policy

For items purchased via our online shop, we offer refunds for any faulty products, in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act. For change-of-mind purchases we reserve the right to consider them on a case-by-case basis and offer a credit in select instances.

For events and activities for which tickets have been purchased, we offer refunds if the event or activity is cancelled. If a ticketholder can no longer attend we reserve the right to consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis, including how much advance notice is given.

Social Media Policy

Katherine Mansfield House & Garden is active on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Katherine Mansfield House & Garden encourages social media users to interact with each other in a respectful and meaningful way on our Facebook page wall and within the comment threads on Facebook and Instagram. Katherine Mansfield House & Garden is not responsible for comments or wall postings made by visitors and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to screen and remove any content it deems inappropriate. This includes, but is not limited to, commercial content whose primary purpose is to sell a product, a service, or other such practices, as well as content that harasses, abuses, threatens, or in any other way violates the rights of others. We also reserve the right to remove posts that are irrelevant or excessive, and to act on complaints from our community. Users will be blocked if they breach the above community guidelines three times. We have the right to block users from our social media communities and follow a three-strike process. However, we will not tolerate anyone who uses our channels to spread malicious information or threatens Katherine Mansfield House & Garden, its employees or others. Any users who do so will be blocked without warning. In addition, Katherine Mansfield House & Garden upholds the Terms of Service and community standards administered by Meta.
