Katherine Mansfield House & Garden is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am-4pm. Admission prices can be found below.
We are closed on Mondays and most public holidays including New Year's Day, Day after New Year's Day, Easter Friday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Please see below for our opening hours over the Christmas/New Year period this summer.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you'd like to check that we'll be open when you plan to visit.

While Katherine Mansfield House & Garden is listed as Category I Historic Place by Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga (HNZPT), it is not one of the properties owned or operated by HNZPT so is not covered by HNZPT membership. However, we are happy to offer HNZPT members our concession price.
Payment Methods
We accept cash, Eftpos and credit card (there is a 2.5% surcharge on credit card transactions). Guided tours and education visits can also be invoiced for payment via online banking.
