This year Katherine Mansfield House & Garden Director Cherie Jacobson was awarded a Winston Churchill Fellowship to undertake a study tour of historic house museums in England and Ireland. In this presentation she will highlight some of the houses she visited and what she learned from meeting with the staff who care for them.
Cherie has been posting on the Katherine Mansfield House & Garden Facebook and Instagram pages about each of the houses she visited. To find the first post, scroll back to 28 May!
Established in 1965 with contributions from the government and the public, the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust supports New Zealanders from diverse fields to travel overseas, expand their knowledge on topics of national significance, and bring back insights to benefit their communities and New Zealand as a whole.
Venue directions: When entering Queen Margaret College through the main gate, turn right and head towards the assembly hall entrance. The auditorium is to the left once you are in the atrium.
