2025 Open Day and Plant Sale

Our annual open day with entry by donation and fundraising plant sale is always a popular event!

The house will be open 10am-4pm with entry by donation, including our current exhibition 75 Tinakori Road: 'This marvel had come to the lane'.

From 10am plants from our garden raised by our wonderful volunteers will be sold as a fundraiser for Katherine Mansfield House & Garden. Plants priced from $5. Cash and card accepted, you may like to bring a box or bag to carry your plants home in.

At 11am Gabor Toth, local and New Zealand history specialist at Wellington City Libraries, will give a talk about Thorndon during the years Katherine Mansfield and her family lived on Tinakori Road.

Throughout the day you'll be able to see members of Wellington Urban Sketchers creating new works.

At 2pm the Wellington Embroiderers' Guild will host our monthly Stitching Circle, feel free to bring along your WIP (work in progress) and join in!
